I'm Melissa Boddie, Managing General Agent with Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company®.  I am a wife and mother of 2 so family is a top priority. My first job out of college was working for a national insurance company processing death claims. Having lost my dad in my early adult hood I understood the devastation that is experienced when planning a funeral service . I also knew the importance of why families needed their claims to be processed quickly. It would allow them to take care of expected and unexpected expenses so they could grieve. It also would prevent them from the embarrassment and shame of borrowing money and raising money to bury their loved one. I never would have thought that over 20 years later I would return to the industry where my working career began but this time I'm building my own agency. I'm hiring talented people that genuinely care about others, willing to learn our system and are willing to work hard to help provide peace of mind to families via immediate financial resources. I partnered with Lincoln Heritage in 2013 and have not looked back.
